Dennie Allen Nance, 67, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on June 9, 1958, to Dallas and Fayetta Todd, Dennie lived a life filled with laughter, generosity, and a deep devotion to family and friends.

Dennie was known for his kind heart, easy smile, sense of humor, love of music, and lifelong passion for the Cleveland Browns. In his younger days, he found great joy in playing basketball a joy shared by all who watched him play. He found happiness in life’s simple moments, and cherished time spent with those he loved most. His warmth, humor, and presence will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his sister, Tressa McKee; Brother Eugene Warren; daughter, Chenile Norman; sons, Darrell Cole, Marquis Nance, Desmond Nance, and Dennis Nance; nephews, Tony McKee, Chad McKee, Lenier Curtis, Lamar Curtis and niece Annette Battle; and several beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas and Fayetta Todd, his sister, Vickie Battle, grandchildren DJ and TayeShawn Cole and nephew Brandon McKee

A time of public visitation to celebrate Dennie will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home, 237 W. Main St., Wilmington, Ohio. At 3:00 there will be a time to share memories of his life.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and share memories in his honor.
