Timothy Thompson Obituary

Timothy Paul Thompson, our beloved son, brother, uncle, father, and faithful servant of God, went home to be with his Lord and Savior at UC Medical Center on December 19, 2025, at the age of 53, following a long courageous battle with cancer.  Born on May 12, 1972, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Timothy was the cherished firstborn son of Thomas and Marcell Ryan Thompson. He graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1990. From an early age, Timothy carried an adventurous spirit and a deep zest for life. He loved the outdoors and found joy in wakeboarding, snowboarding, and immersing himself in God’s creation. Among his most treasured memories were tuna fishing trips in Puerto Vallarta with his father, cousins, and close friends—experiences filled with laughter, challenge, and meaningful connection.  Timothy was a beacon of faith, courage, and unwavering devotion to Christ. He lived boldly and purposefully, never timid in his calling. A deeply committed Christian, he was gifted in teaching, preaching, evangelism, and leadership. Timothy served tirelessly as a faithful servant of God, always eager to share truth, encourage others, and lead with integrity, spiritual depth, and strength of character.  Professionally, Timothy dedicated many years as a project manager specializing in contracting and construction. He was highly respected in his field and trained and mentored hundreds of people throughout his career. Timothy found genuine fulfillment in personal growth and in teaching others—always ready to share knowledge, encourage development, and lead by example.  A true thrill-seeker with a courageous heart, Timothy embraced life fully. He lived with passion, faith, and purpose, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, love, and steadfast devotion to God that will continue to impact all who were blessed to know him.  Timothy was a beloved brother to his three sisters: Bethany Marie Buch, Susan Michelle Wiederhold, and Tirzah Christine Mpagi. He was a devoted father to David Thompson and Olivia Thompson, and he carried deep and enduring love for his son Micah Thomas Thompson, who preceded him in death as an infant. We take comfort in knowing that Timothy and Micah are now joyfully reunited.  He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews: Luke, Audrey, Levi, Alexis, Kaelah, Taelynn, and Malakai, along with many loving cousins, aunts, and uncles, and extended family members.  Family and friends are invited to join us for a Celebration of Life honoring Timothy from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Milford Mosaic Church, located at 894 Rt. 28, Milford, Ohio 45150.
